Duo share secret to success

PAY attention in class and practise good time management. This was the advice from Faqih Aqili Ahmad Shuhaili, one of Perak’s top PMR students.

The 15-year-old SMK Seri Manjung student, who scored 9As, said he studied at least two hours a day for five months before the exam.

“I do not believe in burn- ing the midnight oil. I studied from 9pm to 11pm daily,” he said when met at his house at Sri Manjung in Sitiawan, Perak, on Thurs-day.

Faqih Aqili scored As in Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics, Science, His-tory, Geography, Living Skills, Islamic Education and Arab Language (Communi-cation).

Faqih Aqili, who aspires to become either a professor or scientist, said he anticipated the good result.

“I scored As in all subjects during the trial exam,” he said.

The sixth child among eight siblings, thanked his parents and teachers for their help and guidance.
